K/S Hospital Scene bc Into Darkness was so K/S TASTIC

It was so sudden. He woke up with a flash, bright lights, soft sounds, a bed, he was alive?? But he'd died in the chamber...in engineering. Spock and he had exchanged that vulcan hand-thing whatever the hell it was. He'd died, he was dead. Was this heaven? Holy....

No. Bones was here nagging at him.

"Oh don't be so melodramatic, you were barely dead. You've been out cold for two weeks."

He was so...taken aback. What had happened? He just remembered being in the locked chamber watching Spock shed tears, glimmering tears of anguish as he slowly died of radiation poisoning... his heart lurched at the memory. He didn't know the vulcan was even capable...

And then Spock was in the room, approaching him. Suddenly... everything else was forgotten. Hell even Bones was gone in his mind, though he could hear the doctor put in a "You know Uhura and I had something to do with it too."

"....Thanks, Spock... for saving my life..."

[Spock puts down the book once he realizes that Jim is fully asleep. Putting the book away, the Vulcan settles down to meditate for awhile... breathing with his mate as a way to concentrate.]

_{[Strangely enough Jim starts to dream, not the unnatural thing, but he dreams about Spock's meditation. His mind picks up on the focus and responds. In his dream Jim is purging his thoughts, thinking of only peaceful things.]}

[During meditation, Spock notes Jim's curious and peaceful presence. Instead of ignoring him, the Vulcan pulls Jim deeper into his mind... wanting him to share the meditation with him.

They went so deep that eventually they were sitting on the rock overlooking the city of Shi'khar. Spock was sitting behind Jim... holding him close as Spock breathed the desert air deeply.]

Welcome Ashaya.

_{[Jim was surprised at what was happening, not sure he understood it entirely. But it was probably just a dream... Either way he leaned back against Spock.]}

Where are we?... This looks like...

but it was destroyed... where... is this?

This is my mind Jim... at least, part of it. I come here to meditate. Here I can relax in the temperatures of my home planet.

You are looking at my projection of the city of Shi'khar.... and we're sitting on the mountains of Ma-Laya.

[The amusement could not only be seen, but it was felt all around them.... as if you could pick it out of the air.]

[Still holding onto Jim, the image around them shifted until they were sitting on what looked like a living-room floor.]

This is my home.

[It was simply designed... but it had human influences. You could tell that Amanda had a lot to do with the decorating. A portrait hung above the mantel place... a stern looking Vulcan man.... a beautiful young human woman... and a very young Spock.]

_{[Jim looked around, impressed with the obviously high-class building. It wasn't elaborately decorated but this was swanky.]}

It's a palace... did you like it here? Can I see your room?

Awww look at your mom in that painting, she's gorgeous. Aww is that you? _{[Jim tugged away from Spock, wanting to see it up close]}

It is indeed.

[The Vulcan stood and looked around. The edges of the room were hazy, but as soon as he looked them over, the image solidified.]

My room is this way.

[He walked down a narrow corridor to another small connecting building. This was his room... his hide-away when he was a youth.]

<sub>[Jim followed eagerly, seeing as Spock's focus determined what was visible and its relative clarity compared to other parts of the room. Spock was having to focus on his memories to bring every detail to life, wasn't he? It must be exhausting.

But once in his room, Jim looked around...smiled... and flopped on his bed.]</sub>

The Vulcan smiles and sits down next to Jim on the bed.]

_{[He sat up... then crawled over and laid his head in Spock's lap.]}

[Again, the Vulcan looks amused as he starts to stroke Jim's head... massaging the scalp just as he likes.]

In the physical world, we are laying in a bed together, in your room.

_{[He smiles at the petting. That is so relaxing.... can they do this on Enterprise? This is amazing for taking away all the stress.... but suddenly he sits up and takes Spock's shoulders.]}

Hey, since I can move around freely in here... _{[He doesn't finish that sentence as he pushes his love on his back. Jim is sitting to Spock's side but he lays across him and props himself up on his elbow, planted at Spocks side. He pets his husband's hair back.]}

[Something sinister was building in Spock's mind as the Vulcan gave Jim a small, mischievous smile.]

But this is my mind Ashaya... I could do anything to you in here.

[That being said, the Vulcan manipulated their connected minds causing a sharp shock of pleasure through Jim without even touching him.
He looked smug.]

Standing, the Vulcan stared the pursuit... trailing after Jim. He knew exactly where Jim was, it was only a matter of time.
